Welcome to the flagship, and first ever AF Foundation Rehabilitation & Physiotherapy Unit.
Alder Hey, in Liverpool, is one of the largest children’s hospitals in Europe treating more than 200,000 children a year. Respected worldwide, Alder Hey’s vast experience and knowledge were vital to the unit’s success. The new unit created will become our blueprint, thus creating the formula for many other AF Foundation Child Rehabilitation & Physiotherapy Units that we plan to build in the future.

Alder Hey was in dire need of a little care and attention. We needed to start from scratch - nothing could survive. Ceilings and floors and walls and windows would be ripped out in preparation for the unit's transformation. We had a task and a half on our hands, but I think you'll agree, we more than met that challenge... we smashed it.
